"What's It All About?"

   Antes de continuar com a discussão sobre liberal, libertário e neoliberal, gostaria de registrar algo que li no livro com o mesmo título do post, de autoria de Julian Baggini.

   Trata-se da ideia do autor de propor uma discussão "secular" sobre a questão que dá título ao livro.

   Diz ele: 

   "By 'secular' I do not mean 'atheist'. I mean simply that our arguments must not start from any supposed revealed truths, religious doctrines or sacred texts. Instead they must appeal to reasons, evidence and arguments that can be understood and assessed by all , whether they have a faith or not".
   É uma visão esclarecedora sobre o que significa exatamente "secular".
